Term 2 Recreation Class Timetable

Littlies: This class is suitable 1–6 year olds from crawling bubs, toddlers and older children who may need more assistance or benefit from less structure. A class with parent involvement.

Kindy Gym: A class without parent involvement for pre-schoolers between 3-5 years of age. The class focus on fundamental gymnastics shapes and movement patterns taught in a playful way.

Rec Gym: Small group recreational gymnastics classes for boys and girls from ages 4-13 years old. Classes have a coach ratio of 1:8 (usually classes are 2:16).

Teen Gym: For young people aged 13 years old and up. This class takes a gymnast centred approach individualising gymnastics activities and skill progression to the interests of the gymnasts.

Advanced Rec Gym (by selection only): These classes are for children (5-13yrs) who have been coach identified as progressing quickly and showing more advanced potential.

Boys Advanced Rec / Parkour: A 2 hour class for Boys aged 9-13 years that combines mens artistic gymnastics with some parkour activities. 

Gymability (morning classes): Individuals or small groups. These are a low-impact strength, balance, and movement class for people with a disability, can be supported by their parent and/or carer.

New to Shire Gymnastics - Register for a trial:

We offer trial classes at any time throughout the term for a single class fee.

To register for a trial please:

• Review the Recreational Class Timetable.
• Click on Register / Enrol Now.
• Complete Register for a Trial Class form with preferred class name and day.
• We will check availability and confirm your trial via email.

Following your trial we will send an email invitation for regsitration into the remainder of the term.

Term Enrolment

Term 2 starts from Monday 28th April 2025

We run a 10-week term, you can enrol at any time throughout the term, fees will pro-rata. 

Gymnastics NSW Athlete Membership Fee - Per Term

All recreational enrolments (full term or partial term) will include a compulsory Gymnastics NSW Athlete Membership Registration & Insurance Fee of $25 per term.

Make-up Classes

Should you be unable to attend your class we offer 2 make-up classes within the term.

Term to Term Enrolments

Term enrolments do not automatically roll over.

Existing Shire Gymnastics Members will receive priority to re-enrol into their existing class for the next term one week prior to the opening of general enrolments. This will ocur in week 8 of each term, then from week 9 general enrolments are open for all (this includes if changing classes and days).
